With a Four strong 2” polyurethane wheels, the Pelican 1640 case is tested to MIL C-4150J (Military Standard), IP-67 (Ingress Protection) and ATA (Air Transportation Association). Pelican cases can be shipped due to an added support in the form of exterior ribs to their well built corners. You can ship up to 22” square items easily in the Pelican 1640 case. You can take the Pelican 1640 anywhere with its retractable extension handle, two heavy duty fold down carrying handles, with one on each side for lifting like sticking it in your truck. It also comes with extension handles and wheels you can tilt. Pelican cases are light in weight; watertight (waterproof up to 30 foot depth), corrosion, dust, scratch and crush resistant.
